An amazing full-length Albert Nipon tunic-style dress with matching belt and scarf in the same fabric: tan with diagonal slate blue/gray stripes. The belt has a circular buckle in a similar slate color. The tunic has ties at the neck, three-quarter length sleeves and side pockets. It slips on and is unlined.
Extremely versatile, the tunic may be worn with or without the self-fabric buckled belt and the matching scarf can be worn around the neck, at the waist or even as a head wrap.
While there is an ILGWU tag and another stating that it is dry clean only, there is no fabric content tag.
Made in U.S.A.
Label: Albert Nipon
Size: 10
Measurements: 17" bust, 16 1/2” waist, hips open, 16 1/2" sleeves, 45" length. The belt is 2 3/4" wide with the buckle 3" in diameter. The scarf measures 7 1/4" wide and 61" long.
Good vintage condition. There is overall pilling on the tunic, but it only adds to nubby feel of the fabric. There is a scratch on the belt buckle.
Style tip
Channel your inner bohemian by wrapping the scarf around your head.
